The Sega Saturn existed on its own terms.

It didn’t follow a clear path forward or back. Built with a different kind of structure, it carried a complexity that wasn’t always visible, but always present. Development was layered, and the results reflected it.

It moved differently.

Some experiences felt ahead of their time. Others felt anchored in a space that was already shifting. There wasn’t a single identity to hold onto — just a system that operated between directions.

It didn’t settle into the moment.
It sat slightly outside of it.
